Honestly, I don't actually care whatever they build the HSR(High-Speed Railway) or not only if they decide to improve the transport network at the terminal as the TCL have too few trains and they are mostly fulfill with passenger and damage the first image at Hong Kong transport from the tourist from oversea.
The station at the Shek Kong is simply a waste of money as it is only next to the barrack and the miltary airfield. It is close to inaccessable to the public who travel with public transport and it sounds more reasonable to be a emergency platform for people to get off at emergency situation or also get closer to the west rail station..

it is very clear that 錦上路 is far too remote to the CBD and it the west rail does not have enough carriage to afford the increased amount of passenger of HSR and it will produce a chain effect to people who live next to the west rail and tehy will protest about it.

【明報專訊】8名年輕男女透過facebook聯絡,自發印製2000張寫有「一人一萬,倒貼高鐵,富豪得益,你有排蝕」的反高鐵貼紙,昨日分頭沿著荔枝角至太子4個港鐵站車廂、幕門、扶手電梯等地方張貼達800張貼紙,呼籲市民於今月18日一起包圍立法會 ,其間一名青年被職員發現擒住及報警,最後被登記資料後放行。
被擒住後放行
港鐵發言人指出,根據港鐵附例第32條,任何人未經批准在港鐵處所張貼廣告、傳單 等,最高可被判罰款5000元及監禁3個月。發言人指,已經向該青年發出違反附例的通知書,並將事件交由法律部門研究,保留追究權利。
被擒的黃冠豪事後表示,由於高鐵造價高達600多億元,全港市民平均約分擔達1萬元,極不合理,「如果建成後不賺錢,可能會在其他路線加票價,最終貼錢的又是香港市民!」故他與同伴自發印製了2000張「反高鐵」貼紙,早前在facebook聯絡後,共8名年青男女於昨午開始沿荔枝角至太子4個港鐵站張貼,「希望有更多人站出來」。
市民主動索貼紙鼓勵
8人分散行動,在多個車廂、幕門、扶手電梯及出入口張貼了約800張貼紙。阿豪說,其間有市民不明原委,他們便上前解釋,亦有支持他們的市民主動索取貼紙以示鼓勵。
港鐵指出,昨午5時半發現阿豪張貼貼紙,一名便衣職員上前將其截停。阿豪表示,當時不知道對方身分,故曾作反抗。同伴出閘離開後向記者表示,阿豪遭近20名增援的職員拉扯。警方其後亦到場了解,表示無人受傷。阿豪被帶入太子站辦公室警告及登記資料後放行。一名同行女子表示,事發時港鐵職員不斷增援,又開咪捉拿其他張貼者,但7人成功返回地面。她說張貼行動會繼續,稍候將商量剩下約1200張貼紙在何處張貼。

立法會財委會正討論廣深港高速鐵路工程的六百七十億元撥款申請,在正式討論撥款申請前,財委會用了兩個多小時辯論公民黨湯家驊出的動議,他要求財委會先中止審議撥款,等政府先聘請獨立專家,研究公共專業聯盟建議的高鐵走線方案,日後至討論撥款。動議結果以27票反對,23票贊成,被否決。而梁國雄跟著提出可能有議員於鐵路事宜小組討論時,無申報利益,或會引致不公平,要求中止審議撥款,亦以三十票對二十一票被否決。在辯論湯家驊的動議時,泛民議員贊成,但民建聯陳鑑林指湯家華想盡辦法拖延會議,他又指責社民連陳偉業拖延程序,如同玩泥沙,雙方一度對罵。立法會鐵路小組主席自由黨劉健儀,就認為議員不應在財委會浪費時間。
